Fun and colour rule the HIRZL booth during this year’s Eurobike Demo Day, August 30th. The talented Swiss airbrush artist George Duke skilfully enhances the beauty of the sponsored new BMC Road Racer SL01 frame set.
Duke began his career as a graffiti artist. Approximately ten years ago he evolved into a passionate fan and expert of the airbrush method. Numerous assignments for well-known bicycle and frame manufacturers gained Duke a great reputation within the bike scene. Ever since Duke - a passionate downhiller - first tested the HIRZL Grippp Tour he is part of the steadily growing HIRZL fan base. This led to the creation of a very special HIRZL design for this particular event and bike frame. Duke: "The HIRZL Grippp Tour absolutely is my favourite glove, as it offers incredible grip. The design for this frame will express this grip in an artistic monument."
For this event initiated by the Swiss glove manufacturer HIRZL, BMC graciously provides the new Road Racer SL01 Frameset. This cutting-edge M-size carbon frame with a clever Stream Post 73.5 seat post, and a full carbon fork has aerodynamically profiled tubes and therefore an enlarged side surface – perfectly suited for airbrush design.

The revenue from the auction (eBay article number 150649314011) will be donated to Irene Pfab, the multiple world champion and winner in numerous 12- and 24-hour races. Irene was recently severely injured in an accident.
The 45-year-old was a member of the TEAM Herzlichst, Zypern that has been sponsored by HIRZL this season. On Whitsunday she crashed into a tractor while riding down a street with her road bike. The ten-time Bavarian Champion Cross Country suffered a hip fracture, severe facial and head injuries and a spinal injury.
